UPDATE: I came back here to see if PDP replied to anyone regarding the questionable depth of the case, and noticed a comment saying their pro controller gets turned on from the analog stick being pressed when they close the case. The strap normally covers the lights on the pro controller, so I closed it without the strap on so I could see. As I started to zip the case, sure enough, my controller's status lights lit up. Did no one at PDP with an actual Switch test this? With Nintendo's poor analog stick quality (they repair them for free in the US they're so crud), anyone with a Switch testing the case before going to production with it would have taken issue with the pro controller being taller than the bottom of the case's sides.I'm not going to bother taking any pictures unless someone specifically requests them, as their pictures cover everything in my opinion.I've been following this case since it was originally put up as pre-order, I really liked that it could fit a pro controller and I really like the pickachu and pokeball options. Most cases are bland, sometimes even straight up ugly on the outside (especially the few that can fit a controller). I ordered the pickachu one myself, so the (as of writing) only other reviewer's case might be different, but I had very different results.CONTROLLER STRAPThe controller's strap can put pressure on the joystick if you try to perfectly center the controller. You just have to position it slightly toward the bottom/centerfold of the case as you strap it in, and the strap won't touch the controller's joysticks.FRONT POCKETThe front pocket takes up the entire face of the case. Once unzipped, there is about an inch of space above the zipper and then the entire space below the zipper is also part of the pocket. The pocket isn't really designed to hold something thick but can hold plenty just depending on what you want to put in it. For example, I currently have a cleaning cloth, Skull&Co core drive (the non-stand part of their TV dock), and an HDMI cord in the pocket. I could throw a pair of earbuds in there too. The back is also thick, you can't feel any of this from the inside.DOES IT CLOSE?The case does indeed zip when the pro controller and switch in. When you close the case unzipped, it does NOT close flush. As you zip it, the sides straighten out and it zips with no trouble or resistance. The bag arrived slightly smooshed which is why I suspect it doesn't appear as though it can close initially. That said, I 100% would have liked to see the depth of this case even just a quarter-inch thicker, if not to avoid that concern, but also better fit cases with grips.CASES/GRIPS ON THE SWITCHThe width of the case CAN fit large cases such as the Skull&Co grip case. With the smallest grips on, it is a little bit of a tight squeeze when zipping, but the screen is adequately protected that I have no concerns there. You could store the switch in with the trigger grips attached if you're comfortable storing the switch face down. If you strap it down tight I wouldn't really expect it to move to put a strain on the joycons (as I mentioned the front between the pocket and inside is a had), but that would be your call if you want to store a case that bulky inside. If using a case with grips, I suggest storing the switch in reverse that is shown in the pics. You want the bulge of the grips toward the bottom/centerfold of the case because the screen protector flap doesn't really have room to bend up and over, just over. The strap that connects to the screen protector piece, on the other hand, can easily stretch over the added height to the flap to secure the switch in place.TLDRThe case can hold just about everything but the dock. Switch, controller, charger, games, headphones, you name it, it fits. If you buy a hub/dock such as the Skull&Co core drive, you can fit it in the front pocket with an HDMI cable and carry it all. It can fit wider grips such as Skull&Co, but you'll want to read my whole review for specifics on that. Smaller switch case/grips shouldn't be an issue being fit into this.Only cons, in my opinion, is that the game sleeves should be deeper, I can definitely see them popping out once in a while with how much of the game sticks out past the sleeve. Second, an increase in the depth of the case itself would make this perfect, even just by a quarter inch. I otherwise recommend this and plan to make it my primary case.I have my generic switch case to my brother thinking I would t travel with my switch often...I was wrong I found myself wanting to take it and refused because I didn’t have a case..well I wanted to be able to carry other things as well and then came across this case..very pleased with all the compartments etc. It's cute and fits my switch. The only down side is that when it's filled like the picture it can't properly close.Perfect size for travelling. Does everything I need it to do. A little tight for pro controller bit I'll live with it. High quality zippers and material. This product looks great and feels great for my Nintendo switch. I don’t have a pro controller or enough games to fill the slots but to hold the charge cable, an extra set of joy cons with straps and the switch it works perfectly. I wouldn’t try cramming more into the pouch. My son loves it!I like everything about this case. It holds my game and gaming device perfectly. My only complaint is I thought the price was a little high.Perfect size for the Nintendo Switch. Even fits games and the charger.Lovely case, looks great, but as others have mentioned - if you put a pro controller in it the buttons will get squashed when the case closes and the controller's battery will be drained. I really wanted a case that could hold my controller as well as my switch, and this just isn't able to do that job. This is for Christmas and is exactly as discribedEl diseño es bonito pero hasta ahi.
