Players can choose to play as themselves or as one of the sport's real-world drivers as they battle it out for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship. Each pro driver has the AI characteristics of his or her real world counterpart, setting the stage for intense rivalries played out on the track. Damage is meticulously detailed and multi-car wrecks are the most extreme ever experienced in an officially licensed racing game. From the 22 real world tracks to full pit stop strategy action, NASCAR The Game 2011 captures the real atmosphere, sense of speed and spectacle that embodies NASCAR. Players can even feel the thrill of a win with the interactive celebration mode. The game also includes in-depth multiplayer modes which allow up to 16 players to battle it out for the win online. Key Game FeaturesCareer Mode Players progress through the grandeur of the NASCAR racing championships – the adrenaline-pumping NASCAR Sprint Cup series. Career mode provides the opportunity to compete at all the real-world NASCAR tracks alongside 42 other NASCAR legends - battling for points, victories, cups, and other race rewards. Drivers perfect their pit-stops, and master their racing reflexes in order to make 'The Chase', the final 10 races towards stardom and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship. Ferocious Damage and Wrecks Using the Eutechnyx Damage and Wreck System cars are catapulted into the air, barrel-rolling over one another. Metal twists and tears like cloth, whilst sparks and fragments scatter across the track. Debris that litters the track is actual parts off the car. The damage system allows all areas of the car to realistically display damage build up, in direct relation to impacts and action throughout the race. Damaged panels react to inertia and vibrate realistically in relation to the car's velocity. Pit Stops Pit stops and NASCAR go hand in hand. Throughout career mode, single player events and online multiplayer, pit stop strategy and efficiency is a fun and immersive part of the race. The pit stop sequences in the game mimic that of the real thing. Players witness their crew working efficiently to change all four tires, refuel and dial out handling deficiencies in the car, all in under 14 seconds. All pit stop animations are fully motion captured from a real NASCAR Sprint Cup team. Spotter Spotter feedback informs the player of the drivers in the race that will work with him, to bump draft, block, or slingshot, all in real-time. Invaluable advice from the spotter also alerts the player to any hazards up ahead, opponents closing the gap or attempting to pass, as well as how to react. The player's Spotter advises with VO on the areas of the car concerning the team, as well as make real-time, calculated suggestions on the pit strategy. VO advice is based upon the car's current fuel levels, tire wear, and the player's position in the race, in association with the number of laps left. Even the player's position in the overall standings is taken into account - giving dynamic, informative and invaluable advice to the player. Online PlayNASCAR The Game 2011 supports online racing, and offers players additional modes of gameplay and the chance to increase their online skill rating. Players can join or create private multiplayer lobbies with ease, utilizing a choice of predefined race styles and additional race settings to create the race they want. Pit stops, tire wear, fuel consumption and caution flags can all feature in an online race if the player wishes. Players have the freedom to race with any of their cars online, any custom paint schemes and any tuning setups. Online play and split-screen also allows players to race as any of their favorite NASCAR drivers. Additional Screenshots

THis game has quite a few glitches, but lets keep it relative to everything else on wii. It is actually very challenging to hit a perfect line around the race tracks consistently, problem is the computer takes the more conservative line around all the time,so ounce you get out front its a little to easy to stay out front. Other problems - the computer's pitstop strategy is stupid - the car doesn't shift through the gears properly at very low speeds (standerd) - the wii wheel blows I perfer the classic controller - you don't NEED to adjust your car - no painting cars - only one profile - grafics - when you blow a tire your spotter doesn't say anyting?? - celebrations aren't any good - restrictor plate tracks are way to easy - the "pack" stays to close together for to long - If you master a track you can lap the crap out of the computerTHings I like - If you lose consentration for a second (mostly at a short track) your bound to hit the wall - when you hit a corner just right you know it - changing your line is sometimes needed - running conservetivly can be hard - the car's feel changes during the run - sometimes you change tires and nothing else and your cars feels different - if you cut a corner to tight and run off the banked part of the track, you pay the price - down shifting changes the balence of your car in the middle of a turn - infinieon is super hard for me yet - the car is totally different in traffic - hitting the wall is never good - the computer doesn't make cars run faster just because your going fasterWHy 5 stars, cause most everything else sucks a LOT MORE on wii!First and foremost I'm not a huge gamer, and I never have been... We bought a Wii for our boys (6 and 2) but we all have enjoyed playing it. I'm a fan of NASCAR and pre-ordered this game from Amazon back in April expecting it to be awesome, but I gotta admit after playing it for a day I'm kinda disappointed...I understand the Wii will always fall short when it comes to graphics, I learned that lesson the hard way when I bought Madden last year! Despite the video previews of the game I saw online I wasn't expecting much, but felt they could have done a better job. I won a race using Jeff Burton and he got out of the car to celebrate the victory and he wasn't even remotely recognizable??As a previous reviewer notes the inability to set up individual profiles is a huge oversight, we have 2 other racing games (Mario Kart and Cars Race-O-Rama) that allow you to set up around 4 profiles, so I would expect a game put out by a major player like Activision to include such a basic feature.I'm not sure if the problem lies with the controller or the game itself, but the handling of the cars is not as responsive as Mario Kart. If you spin out and find yourself facing the wrong direction it takes a lot of effort to get the car turned back around. There are settings for steering and braking so maybe I need to play with those some more. I have them set so I get the maximum amount of assistance from the game so this could be limiting my ability to steer so the car doesn't get too loose in the corners. Now the good, it's cool that all the tracks are included (some with a choice of day or night racing) and once you unlock them so are all the different paint scemes. When you race you can customize several features such as number of opponents, laps, and even how hard your opponents race you.Maybe I just need to play with it some more but I just didn't find it as addicting as my other driving games...As many of us have been awaiting the NASCAR 2011 game's release very anxiously, I was thrilled when it FINALLY was delivered. That excitement was quickly extinguished. The Nascar 2011: The Game is by far THE ABSOLUTE MOST DISAPPOINTING VIDEO GAME RELEASE that I have ever witnessed. The graphics for the wrecks that are advertised are not even close. When the car gets spun or turned, it immediately floats in the air and rolls backward as you are no longer in control of the car until it stops. Oh, and by the way, while your car is hopelessly floating in the air uncontrollably, you may or MAY NOT get a caution flag. On many numerous occasions, I was turned while battling for the lead and rendered to finish under green with a wrecked race car in 43rd. To test my theory, I turned around and went backwards into traffic, sure enough, NO CAUTION was thrown, and yes, the cautions were turned on.All of this is very serious, but maybe it could be overlooked...MAYBE. DON'T STOP READING---there's more. If you are a good racer, you had better run the high line on EVERY RACE TRACK, because when you dive down to the lowest line on the racetrack (not the apron, but the racetrack), you actually lose between 30 and 60 mph than if you ran the high line. In my first race, I took the lead using the high line, then drove to the bottom to make time, as in most other games. Well, I fell to 21st in one turn.Okay, moving on. Here's the kicker. I'm sure you all, just like me, enjoy adjusting your car with air pressure, spoiler heighth, spring and shock adjustments, and wedge. THERE ARE NO ADJUSTMENTS AVAILABLE IN THIS POOR EXCUSE OF A VIDEO GAME! You can press up or down to make the car either loose or tight, but there are no tweaking adjustments in this game. Very disappointing. Also, the game seems to lack all form. Jennifer Jo Cobb, Todd Bodine, Danica Patrick, Aric Almirola, among others drive their vehicles from the Camping World Truck Series and Nationwide Series in the Sprint Cup Series. There is no way to drive in the truck or Nationwide series. Apparently, this game took 3 years to slap together in the sloppiest way possible. The cars struggle in handling an turning, when you repeatedly and without warning slap the wall, causing you to lose track position and often taking 10 laps or more to regain your momentum. In fact, I was so disappointed in this game that I returned it to Amazon.com with the reason being that this product was not as described. It is an awful video game and most 2 year olds would be disappointed with it. If you purchased this "GAME" and are dissatisfied like me, return it. We deserve better than this for all of the money we willingly threw away.Thank you for your time.Excellent Just as described
