This was quite interesting. I opened it up expecting the game to match the case, but instead it was one I didn't own before, Guitar Hero Aerosmith! I played a few songs on it & so far it's a good game! Very similar in style and character design with GH3If you own a Wii and a PS2 and have accumulated pretty much all the other GH games that have been on the market don't waste your time buying this one. It is pretty much a compilation of all the songs on those games into one. The difference is that this game you can play the full-band on the songs that you can not before. If you have purchased Just as advertised. The disc plays and the game is a lot of fun. This may be Guitar Hero, but in our house it's 'Band Hero'!! I bought this because I loved the song list and found out after I received it that it works with the whole band, bonus! Great game and challenging too! I don't know if this is normal, but it took us a few tries to figure out how to get the whole band logged in and make it start. I finally had to press and hold the + button to get it to go.In spite of the fact that I played all of the songs in previous GH titles (for PS2), this new version that compiles the best songs from previous and currently unavailable (at least for Wii) GH games, made me live it all again. You have the possibility for Career Mode, unlocking different songs and settings as you beat each song, and for Quickplay, where all the songs are available for play.I must say I basically purchased this for playing "Free bird" all over again, but I love every single song in the game.Disc crashed after about a week of purchase and only using it twice. During those two time the game no matter which experienced player tried just wouldn't sink up to the guitar. Now disc just comes on black with error code if it even reads. Only just found out, when going to vist and talking with my family I bought it for. Side note not about quality but about the game itself, not for people who preferred GH3 classics, this game says smash hits but not sure on the judgement on what's considered smash hits, as only 2 or 3 from GH3 made the cut.Awesome guitar hero game. Most guitar hero's have a few songs that aren't the best. This one literally took all the best songs and slappes it into one game. I enjoy how I can create my own character and customize them. It's my favorite guitar hero game so far just because of the music selection.Got this for my child for Christmas they play it all the time & have fun. Defiantly need good hand & eye function to keep up with it thoughMore more more please
