Doom Slayers Collection for Nintendo Switch - Classic FPS Game Bundle for Action-Packed Gaming at Home or On-the-Go

The only game on the physical cartridge is doom 2016. The other four games you have to download with a code that comes in the box. The cumulative file size for doom 1, 2, 3, and 64 is ~11 gigs ( An update that has to instal prior to playing doom 2016 is an additional 8 gigs). I feel that the necessity to download 4 out of the 5 games could be more apparent in the listing.Also a more minor detail, although the game is region free, the box is in Spanish.It's every Doom game but Eternal running as well as can be reasonably asked from Switch hardware. Doom 2016 is on a cartridge, and the rest take up about 10GB of separate E-shop downloads. Doom 2016 on Switch is the objectively worst possible way to play the game, but it's also portable Doom 2016 so that's pretty cool. I bought this package largely out of curiosity on how enjoyable Doom 2016 would be on Switch, but I've also had a lot of fun playing through the more retro games that came with it. I think Doom 2016 can be enjoyed for what it is (despite its many flaws compared to all other releases), and the rest of the games hold up just fine on Switch. It's a good package, and if you want to play Doom on the go I think it is well worth the money. If you want to play Doom on your TV though, you might want to consider other options. The older titles still hold up alright, but 2016 looks ROUGH blown up on a large tv.I missed the small detail that you can really only see from the screen shot of the box that this is a region free copy that is mostly in Spanish on the box. I dont know if this is a no deal for others, but wanted to try and point that out here. i'm happy either way to get a physical box copy of it, even if the older games are all just downloadable and the only thing on the cartridge's is doom 2016. Just wish the listing title and or details made it clear that its a Spanish copy that is region free and includes English. I would of given it more stars if it wasn't for these details that dont seem to be listed in noticeable spots.A good price for the franchise, but buyer beware that you will need to claim and download the majority of these off the Nintendo store. So if you weren’t planning to go online for whatever reason, you’re out of luck if you wanted to play the original.That being said, it’s got the OG Doom to its newer installment. And the graphics on the Switch vastly outstrip what we were all using in the beginning, let’s be real.Well, in my package the code worked for me, thankfully, but the box came all damaged and humid, (and possibly preopened/refurbished?) so I had to talk to Amazon about it and they helped me, the cartridge for Doom 2016 worked, so far Amazon have been blessful with me so thanks. Now for the games, everyone knows Doom so I don't have to explain, but here's what happened: Doom 2016 looks a little like vaseline in portable mode but I haven't tried dock mode so stay tuned, the game works fine gameplay wise but the controlls feel a little off, still fun and probably good on multiplayer, remember to change and edit all settings. Now for the game code: Doom 1 and Doom 2, good solid feeling ports. Apparently the update fixed the randomised pitches that you can tick off, the music is a bit blurry but forgiveable. Also, skippable logos so that's good. Now the nightdive or other studios ports aren't skippable so that's bad for speedrunners, Doom 64 had a bad filter thing but there's also a setting for that one so that's good. Doom 3 seems to be the BFG edition ported but doesn't include the wads so you have to download the episode on Doom 1 or 2, so you best activate the Bethesda.net and remember to launch all the games to claim all dlc for Doom Eternal, so launch Doom 1 to 64, and then Doom 3 has a way to claim it but it's hidden in the options. I am appaled, more so that I bought this shipped and sold from amazon.I got my refund but I had to pay for the container to ship it with; which pissed me off even more since I did not want to recieve such a terrible product and service to begin with, I had to go out of my way to return it which was such a hassle when you already paid good money to buy a game properly to begin with and recieve a case damaged heat sealed game sold off to you as NEW.I did not open the game because you may not recieve a refund for opened games; so I could not even trust the in game download code to work as it might be the reason for the heatseal as it may be a resealed sold as NEW.Bottomline delivery was fine but the product is not as described, I had other games in this situation but this was the hay that broke the camel's back. The last straw. so I had to leave this review for others to be warned that they may recieve a reseal/heatsealed game instead of new factory sealed one.I really hope they stop selling resealed/ heatsealed games as NEW. It makes it hard to trust Amazon again if this continues.Llego en perfecto estado y antes del tiempo esperando, me agradó que el Doom 2016 viniera en físico porque actualmente lo venden muy caro, el único detalle es que si quieres descargar el resto de videojuegos es necesario cambiar la región se la cuenta Nintendo lo cual es muy fácil en la página Nintendo, recomiendo cambiarla a EUA NY a mí me funcionó.El paquete llego sellado con su celofan, el juego doom 2016 es el mismo que jugaba en xbox con game pass, el tema es que no puedo canjear el codigo electronico en la tienda de mexico , cambie desde la pagina la tienda de usa / NY , solo con eso pude canjear los juegosNo solo tardo mucho en llegar sino que solo viene el doom 2016 los demás no permite canjearse ni tampoco las monedas de recompensa la verdad es una lástimaEl cartucho físico funcionó bien, el problema fue que el código para descargar el resto de los juegos no esta disponible, el empaque asegura que esta liberado para cualquier región pero de nada sirve si el contenido no está disponible, lo intente varios días y no funcionó, terminé devolviendo el juego.
