As the name suggests, this book is excellent for users who are new to 3ds Max. On reading each chapter thoroughly, I could learn and explore new 2D and 3D modeling techniques. The tutorials in the book contain step-by-step explanation, followed by Review Questions and Exercises at the end of each chapter. One of the best features of this book is that figures and tutorials in the book can be downloaded from the publisher’s website. To my surprise, five Projects were also added in the book which I found really handy to practice the concepts learnt.
