Easy to play for my six year old son who can’t get enough fishing.I got this used in excellent condition (even had the booklet!) This game is fun, but has an element of frustration with it. The limited area (in free fish mose- all I have tried so far) to fish in kinda hampers the game. Once you have exhausted your lure selection- well your stuck. Also the landing of the fish is a bit tedious. I learned to stop reeling once the line hits the 3/4 spot as the tension meter is just to slow to respond. After figuring this out (and following the onscreen rod movement instructions) I was able to land everything under 5 lbs. Over 5 lbs and forget it. The line either breaks or the fish comes off. Graphics are typical Wii (not great, not horrible). If I had paid full price for this I would not have rated more than 3 stars, but seeing as I paid less than 1/3 the price (and got an excellent condion copy) it is a pretty good value for me.My son liked getting all the new lures and catching huge bass!My dad has been an avid fisherman his entire life, but I noticed that his fishing trips had become less and less frequent as he's gotten older. I knew that his love of fishing couldn't have diminished, so I figured that it had to be that it had become too uncomfortable for his 80-year old body. I gave him this game for Christmas and I am more than thrilled to see how much he is enjoying it. There was a slight learning curve in the beginning. Even 2-lb fish would break our lines! But, once we got the hang of it, it was a lot of fun. There are many variations in settings, time of day, weather conditions, lures, etc. that make the game interesting and challenging. My only complaint is that our tournament scores don't save (or maybe we just don't know how to save them). And, I say "we" fish because, just like when I was young, my dad and I are sharing the joy of fishing together again.I purchased this as a game for my father. He loves to fish and also enjoys an occasional video game. Fishing games don't tend to be very popular but they can be fun. This game features four modes: Arcade, Tournament, Practice and Nature Trip. There are 15 stages in the game which include some old school Dreamcast stages. You can choose from twenty types of lure to catch four types of bass. The graphics are okay but nothing spectacular. Overall, this is a good game and for under [...], a great buy!I hate to buy games from Amazon. They always lie to you. When they said that your game,is going to arrive in such date don't believe them.Your game ismaybe in the mail box when less you expected.Like me.I was telling my sonabout the games I bought for him, when the games arrived about a week early.I went to the Games Stop Store and I told some of the customers to check inAmazon for somes games and the price was cheaper. From 1 to 10,I gave Amazon,a 100.From now on I told Games Stop good bye and Amazon, here I come.Oh, I almost forgot, this game is amazing. If you like fishing try it.Loved this game many years ago when it came out on the PlayStation system. This is one of the few video games that I enjoyed playing. The extra added features made a good game great. I love the way the fish jump out of the water and give much attitude. I caught a 38 pound bass at the palace! I have fallen in love with this game all over again. Now a whole new generation can enjoy fishing.Apparently its a tough game. I bought this as a gift for my dad, for a stay at home gift. So far he has only been able to catch 2 fish.Wonderful new yrs gift to me ?Highly recommend boundless booksUsed games...Said good.. works perfectly.2 day delivery.. got it new yr EveI am pleased with my purchase. The game is challenging, with terrific graphics. I haven't gotten very far yet due to time constraints, but I am enjoying the relaxing aspects of fishing in my home! I think this game would be really fun to play with another person.Works fine even though the disc is scratched up. Case is a little dirty. Fair price. No complaints.this was a gift to my brother-in-law. He finds it okay. A little tricky at times and wished it came with a rod.Love this game. Easy enough for my 7 year old to play!
