ProStreet is a solid driving/racing simulator. EA has always put out quality racers (IMO) but Prostreet is more a simulator. You can't drive into a wall at 150mph and expect the car to be happy with you. Like in real life you will take damage, and it isn't cheap to fix. That's what I like about this game the most, it's reallife dynamics.The courses are challenging if you take the assists off and drive aggressive but remembering to be aware of your surroundings. Even the smallest love tap from another car can be a bad time.The car selection is vast. Some of the best muscle, tuner and exotic cars are available with the right amount of money and can be customized to peak fairly easily even if your not a car nut.Overall, for the price it's a good buy. It's a fun game, a rather good simulator, and enough game modes to please any driving game fan. Having said that...It's a good buy, not a great buy. One thing I wish this game had was free roam. Not easy to do when it's a track designed game, but NFS is known for it's free roaming. If this game could go back to the shop, i'd love to see them build a Underground 2/Prostreet game. Roam around a city, whack a wall and have to pay to fix your car, race on tracks. This game could have been that way but I think they rushed to get something out. Still a good game, a good price, 4 stars.
