Normally fighting games aren't really my style, but when I heard a new Zoids game was coming to the US, I had to get it! This game is based on the Zoids Wild anime which is currently on Netflix (not the previous series that aired in the early 2000s), so it's story mode follows Arashi and Team Freedom, and features the new Zoids like Liger, Ruin, Demise, and Alpha Shadow.I've played older Zoids games, and honestly, they're not known for their quality. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this one, a lot more care and effort went into this one than previous Zoids games. It looks nice and plays nice, and most importantly is fun! Its not overly complicated like some fighting games, with the added bonus of mecha animals and flashy fighting moves. Whats not to like? I think fans both young and old will enjoy the game.My one complaint is no online multiplayer, but other than that I am pretty pleased with it. I'm just happy to see Zoids back in the US again, and hope a new generation gets to grow up with Zoids like I did!
